$200,000 to implement and integrate Netsmart software agency wide. Netsmart is a comprehensive electronic health record system that will be used across all four counties to better serve 2,000+ people with I/DD in Genesee, Livingston, Orleans and Wyoming Counties.

Arc of Ontario County
$35,000 to Ontario Arc Bottling social enterprise for required upgrades to meet current OPWDD & OSHA standards to become an integrated work setting for people with I/DD.

Community Services for Every1, Inc.
$60,0000 to expand Easy Eats for Every1, a culinary arts education program designed to help people with I/DD to realize personal outcomes for employment, inclusion and wellbeing.

Rochester Accessible Adventures
$50,000 for Be Inclusive Phase 2; expansion of RAA to prepare recreation businesses in the Greater Rochester/Finger Lakes and WNY regions to fully include people with I/DD.

$36,000 to expand SABAH's Outdoor Series Program that offers nature hikes, snowshoeing, beach walks and birding in 10 regional New York State Parks for 800+ individuals with I/DD annually in WNY.

Camp Abilities 2022
$18,000 to support the 2022 summer camp for youth who are blind or visually impaired; teaches sport as well as strategies for wellness and self-advocacy.

Redhouse Arts Center
$5,000 for the 2022 theater production of "Now. Here. This." with Arc of Onondaga as an inclusive, engaging, educational experience for all that attend.

$15,000 to support the Green Visions program which provides workforce development training, and work experience for at-risk youth and youth with I/DD.

$10,000 for training of two AutismUP staff members to become Master Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Trainers to provide staff, community members and families with the training and tools needed to better support people with significant behavior challenges and increase inclusion in AutismUp programs.

Rochester Rookies at CDR
$10,000 to support Rochester Rookies; wheelchair and ambulatory track and field sports program for youth and young adults.

Rochester City Ballet
$4,000 for sensory friendly ballet performance for children and adults with autism, sensory sensitivities, I/DD, or other individualized needs and their families and/or caregivers.

Florida Gulf Coast University
$1,000,000 towards the CAN Program (Community Autism Network) to develop model programs and build community capacity through interdisciplinary research, training, and service collaboration facilitating inclusion, self-efficacy, and wellness across the lifespan for individuals with autism.

Goodwill of Southwest Florida
$6,000 to launch a 12-week, pilot Microenterprise training course for participants in the Pathways to Opportunity Program to learn fundamental business and entrepreneurial concepts through the creation of Dog House Treats Microenterprise.

Rochester Hope for Pets
$2,500 to be used towards the cost-share program, Spay it Forward, that provides financial assistance to reduce the overall cost of owned cat and dog spay/neuter surgeries through the Rochester Community Animal Clinic.

Mr. Grey’s Strays, Inc.
$4,000 to purchase a custom, CDE Animal Cage that will provide safe and secure temporary housing for kittens, cats, pregnant cats and their litters, while they receive medical care and prepare for adoption.

Keller’s Kats Rescue, Inc.
$3,000 to be used towards the general and specialized medical care for the unexpected intake of kittens and cats rescued from a local house fire.

SNIP Collier, Inc.
$12,000 to be used towards spay/neuter surgeries within the TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) program for kittens and cats in Southwest, FL.

QT Kittens, Inc.
$2,500 to purchase medical equipment, diagnostic tests, and vaccines to care for pregnant cats, kittens, and special needs cats in Southwest, FL.

Grants Awarded January 2022

Alzheimer’s Association
$500,000 to support the Alzheimer's Association IDD Health Initiative - Phase 2 - (Rochester/FL, WNY & SWFL) Train the Trainer Program which trains staff on best practices for caring for people with IDD, who commonly are older and who also have dementia.

Mary Cariola Children’s Center
$100,000 for renovations, equipment and upgrades needed to create a school that will meet the needs of all Mary Cariola "High School" students, ages 15 to 21, with multiple complex disabilities.

WNY Home of My Own
$65,000 for the Home of My Own Wellness Project that will create and equip common space in the 24-unit apartment community in East Aurora with areas to socialize, cook, take classes and exercise while enhancing the wellbeing and quality of life of residents with IDD.

Directions in Independent Living, Inc.
$20,000 towards the Transportation Program expansion that provides increased access to independent living by providing clients with IDD transportation in Allegany, Cattaraugus, and Chautauqua counties to appointments, social activates, employment and other tasks as requested.

Friends of Bristol Valley Playhouse Foundation
$3,000 to support the Bristol Valley Theater as it expands its repertoire, artist opportunities, and audience base to include persons with IDD through the professional production of Amy and the Orphans in Summer 2022.

Pet Pride of NY
$20,000 to outfit the in-house surgical suite with the necessary equipment to provide spay/neuter services and medical care to kittens and cats. The suite will include a surgery, preparation, and recovery room.

Janine The Bean Rescue, Inc. 
$3,000 for the TNVR Program (Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, and Return) to support the costs of spay and neuter procedures, vaccines, supplies, and food for the general care of feral cat colonies in the Northeast Area of the City of Rochester.
